FNHA-Approved Counselling Services

I am an approved First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Mental Health Counsellor and am honoured to provide culturally safe, compassionate, and professional counselling services.
Eligible First Nations clients living in British Columbia may be able to access counselling through FNHA’s Health Benefits program.

22+ Hours of Coverage

Eligible clients may receive funding for up to 22 hours of professional mental wellness counselling per year with an approved FNHA provider.

Direct Billing Available

No Out-of-Pocket Cost: For eligible clients, counselling sessions can be direct-billed to FNHA, meaning there are no upfront costs for approved services.

Who May Be Eligible

You may be eligible for FNHA’s Health Benefits program if you are a First Nations person living in British Columbia with valid status.

Children & Youth Counselling

Support for anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, behavioural challenges, social difficulties, and building healthy coping skills.

Adult & Elder Counselling

Compassionate support for stress, anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth.

Family Counselling

A supportive space for families to strengthen communication, navigate challenges, improve relationships, and build greater connection.
